What year range is supported?

Any 4-digit year from 1900 to 9999. The calendar uses JavaScript's native Date object, which handles the full proleptic Gregorian range.

Does the downloaded HTML need an internet connection?

No. The HTML file is fully self-contained — open it offline, email it, or embed it in any page.

Will today's date be highlighted in the downloaded file too?

Yes. The cell for today's date gets a teal highlight class so it stands out when you print or open the file.

Can I change the colors of the downloaded file?

The downloaded HTML uses simple inline CSS — open it in any text editor and adjust the colors in the block to match your brand.

Is the calendar accurate for historical dates?

It uses the proleptic Gregorian calendar (the same one JavaScript uses). For dates before 1582 in Catholic countries or before 1752 in Britain, this won't match the historical Julian calendar that was actually in use at the time.
