How are colors chosen?

A random hue, saturation and lightness are drawn from crypto.getRandomValues. Saturation and lightness are constrained to a pleasing range so colors look vivid rather than muddy.

How is the 5-color palette built?

A random base hue is generated, then five colors are produced at hue offsets of −30°, 0°, +30°, +150° and +210° — a blend of analogous and split-complementary harmonies.

Which formats are provided?

Every color shows its HEX (e.g. #1E90FF), RGB (e.g. rgb(30,144,255)) and HSL (e.g. hsl(210,100%,56%)) values, each with its own copy button.

Can I use these colors in CSS?

Yes. All three formats paste directly into CSS. HEX is the most portable; HSL makes it easy to tweak shades by adjusting the lightness percentage.

Are the colors accessible for text?

The swatch automatically switches its label color between dark and light based on the WCAG relative luminance of the background, so text remains readable.
